Independence Day Celebration-2021
On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, Sant Nirankari Public High School, Durgapur, organised a short cultural programme on 13th August, 2021. The programme was conducted by both the teachers and the senior section students. The programme started with the hoisting of the national flag by the honourable member of the management Mr. Mritunjoy Prasad. After the flag hoisting our respected Principal Sir presented an inspiring speech. The teachers performed a patriotic chorus song and a heartfelt recitation. The students of Classes VIII, IX and X tapped their feet in group dances and solo performances.
The students also shared their views about the Independence Day through their speeches and showed how they are feeling during this situation of pandemic. The students also performed aerobics guided by our sports teacher. The programme ended by singing the National Anthem with a ray of hope and positivity in this pandemic situation.
